Maxine read French at the University of Bristol and later studied at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice.
Prior to launching Maxine Cox Solicitors, Maxine was a partner in the Employment team at Manches LLP, a leading commercial law firm, where she played a significant role in the growth and development of the practice.
Maxine is a specialist in both contentious and non-contentious employment work and her clients range from individuals to multi-national companies and come from a wide range of sectors.
Maxine advises businesses on all areas of employment law, from complex corporate strategic issues to day-to-day human resources matters. She has also represented clients in injunctive proceedings and in employment-related litigation cases.
Maxine is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. She speaks French and German.
Outside work, Maxine plays club tennis (ladies and mixed doubles), enjoys skiing (a lot), and is an amateur wildlife enthusiast.
